New Service Announcement
New Hours Effective Wednesday, July 5th, 2023

At Midcoast Federal Credit Union, we continually monitor our resources and staffing to ensure we’re providing the highest level of value for the majority of our members. Current trends indicate that more members are choosing to engage with the Credit Union using our online services and fewer members are visiting the Credit Union in person, particularly on Saturdays and early morning hours. In addition, we are seeing a significant increase in member contact by phone, chat, and secure online messaging. As a seven-time Best Places to Work in Maine employer, a healthy work-life balance for our employees is also a priority, while meeting the service needs of our members. With all this in mind, the following changes will be effective beginning on July 5th, 2023.

Key Elements

  • Our last day of Saturday drive-up service hours will be on July 1st, 2023.
  • Drive-up services will continue to be available starting at 8am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and extend to 5:30pm on Thursdays in Bath, Brunswick, Edgecomb, and Thomaston. Lobbies will open at 8:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in all locations.
  • Our eBranch will open at 8:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and will continue to be available on Saturdays from 9am-12pm. Chat us online, send us an eMail at info@midcoastfcu.me, or call us at 877.964.3262.
  • We will continue to open our eBranch call center, drive-up services, and lobbies at 9am on Wednesdays to support our employee development and training activities. This will empower our team to continue providing you with the outstanding service you expect and deserve.
