uChoose Rewards is a rewards program where you earn points, simply by using your LOCAL REWARDS Visa®. Redeem your points for anything from cash back (statement credit), to gift cards, to merchandise listed in this huge online rewards catalog. The program offers:

  • No Annual Fee
  • No Enrollment Fee
  • No Redemption Fee

How Can I Earn Points?

Earn 1 point for each $1.00 spent on purchases. You will earn points everywhere your Visa® Card is accepted. And, you can earn even more points when you shop at participating merchants.

Here’s how points are applied:

Triple points for “buying local” at participating merchants

Midcoast FCU understands the value of a diverse and thriving local economy, which is why we will encourage our members to buy local with their LOCAL REWARDS Visa®. Cardholders receive triple points (3x) when using their card at local participating merchants.

Double points* for gas and grocery purchases

LOCAL REWARDS Visa® cardholders receive double points (2x) for using their card to purchase gasoline and groceries.

Single points for all other types of purchases

LOCAL REWARDS Visa® cardholders continue to earn single points for every dollar spent using the card that doesn’t qualify for double or triple points.

How do I Redeem My Rewards Points?

With uChoose Rewards®, you can turn your points into merchandise delivered right to your door. Choose from a broad selection of items like kitchen appliances, trendy tech, and gadgets for your home, or choose gift cards to restaurants, clothing retailers, and so much more. They are your rewards – you choose how to redeem them!

GET STARTED REDEEMING YOUR POINTS:

  1. Create your profile and register your card(s) by visiting uChooseRewards.com.
    • On the right side, you will see “New to uChoose Rewards?” with a Register link.
    • Click Register, and then enter your credit card number.
    • Once your card is authenticated, it will ask to establish your username and password.
    • Follow the instructions as provided.
  2. Log in, check your points, and choose your rewards.
    • Click on “Redeem Points,” the number of available points will be displayed.
    • Select the category you’d like to redeem your points from.
    • Click to redeem the merchandise/item of your choice.
    • Your item can be shipped to any address within the United States.

CASH BACK REWARDS / STATEMENT CREDIT:

  1. Log in to your uChoose Rewards account.
    • Click on “Redeem Points,” the number of available points will be displayed.
    • Enter the number of points that you would like to redeem.
    • Note: 1 point = $0.01 cashback.
    • Cashback will be issued in the form of a statement credit and may take up to 2 business days to process.

FAQ

When can I redeem my points?

It can take up to 60 days for your points to be credited to your account. You must accumulate 1,500 points before you can redeem your points. After that, you can redeem for any number of amazing items. Simply look for your “Total Points” at the top of any page to see how many points you have available for redemption. (Cashback redemption begins after 5,000 points)

Can I share points with family members?

Yes, all cards within an account automatically earn points together. In addition, if you have multiple credit accounts with Midcoast FCU, you can link them together to earn rewards faster. Visit the “Profile” page to link more accounts to your program.

What can I redeem my points for?

It’s your choice! You can choose from millions of options, whether it’s products, travel experiences, activities, event tickets, or CASH BACK (which will be a deposit to your savings account). Simply visit the “Redeem Points” page and click on the category that suits your interests.

We keep track of all the points you earn and will help you find just what you’re looking for when you’re ready to redeem. You can even create a “Wish List” that will help you track when you’ve earned enough to redeem a specific item.

Where can I view my point activity?

You can access the history of your point activity on the “Point Details” page.

What if I shopped at a participating retailer, but my points aren’t showing up?

It can take up to 60 days for transactions to appear on the “Point Details” page. If points from a qualified transaction do not appear after 60 days, contact us for assistance.

Can I ship my selected catalog merchandise to an address other than the one Midcoast has on file for me?

No, you cannot change the shipping address for a redemption from the address on file. This is to protect you against the potential fraudulent use of your points. If you would like to change your address, contact us for assistance.

What will happen to my points if my card is lost or stolen?

If your card is lost or stolen and a replacement is issued, your reward points will automatically be transferred to the new card. Once you receive your new card, you will need to re-register the new number at uChooseRewards.com in your same account.

How much does it cost to participate?

There’s no cost. Membership in uChoose Rewards is absolutely free for Midcoast FCU LOCAL REWARDS Visa® cardholders, so start shopping and earning today.
